Marilyn Wagner

Marilyn Wagner loves the Lord and her family. Marilyn is a student of the Word, leading Inductive Bible study at church as well as teaching at the local rescue mission.  

She and William home educated their two children through high school. They purposed to raise children to become adults with great big hearts of compassion for others.  To achieve this, William and Marilyn began taking them out in the community to serve others, exposing them to others with needs greater than their own, allowing them to be salt and light.  Marilyn now sees that she began serving others for the sake of her children, never imagining how much it would change the pattern and purpose of her own life.  

William and Marilyn became leaders in the home school community, encouraging other families to be the hands and feet of Jesus.  Marilyn holds a degree in Business Administration/Marketing from the University of Iowa.  She began her career as a dress buyer for May Department Stores.  After homeschooling her children, she joined the ministry staff of South Church in Lansing, MI.  

Marilyn is a founding member of Salt & Light Global and pleased to, once again, be back with Salt & Light Global full-time, serving as President.  She brings to SLG her passion for equipping the church to be salt and light and serving the needy.
